Cowboy Church University is a two-day training, with optional third day worship service, and deals with the practical issues of starting and strengthening cowboy churches. Strategy, buildings, ministries, music, and more are covered by experienced practitioners. Needless to say, it’s also a wonderful time of fellowship and cowboy camaraderie.

About Nazarene Cowboy Churches: Cowboy culture has been largely unreached by the traditional church, despite its wide acknowledgement of spiritual reality and a friendly history with Christianity. In this context, culturally specific churches have broken down barriers and brought in new people by the thousands.

These churches often meet in barns, saloons, or arenas; baptisms can be done in horse troughs, and cowboy boots and hats are the norm. People who “just couldn't have imagined myself in a church!” are able to worship in an environment where they feel comfortable coming as they are.
