Students Out to Serve is an event sponsored by Kansas District Nazarene Missions International (NMI) and Nazarene Youth International (NYI). This weekend retreat brings students together to worship, play and serve together. The retreat is intentional in providing opportunities to serve through community service, help our Kansas District Nazarene church body and hear how the church is alive and active around the world through a missionary speaker. Bring all or only part of your group. The size of your youth group does not matter.
GUEST SPEAKER: Trino and Anna Jara
Trino and Anna Jara serve as missionaries with the Church of the Nazarene in Eurasia Region, assigned to Armenia. Born in Costa Rica, Trino now serves as Armenia District Superintendent as well as Pastor of the Yerevan Church of the Nazarene, and the regional Child Development coordinator. Anna coordinates Nazarene Compassionate Ministries in Armenia focusing her attention to Child Development Ministries and economic development activities among needy families in communities served by the church. Anna is also part of a team of church planters going to new communities planting the Church of the Nazarene.

WHERE: Dodge City Church of the Nazarene, Dodge City KS
HOW MUCH: $30/person (PAY AT THE DOOR-one check per church please) ADULT SPONSORS ARE FREE
WHAT'S INCLUDED: 4 meals, snacks, cool t-shirt, local service projects, expanded knowledge of local and global ministries
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING: Work clothes, shoes and gloves, sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries, towel, clothing for Sunday morning worship and your BIBLE

*6th grade students will need to be registered for the Children's Missions Retreat OR Youth Missions Retreat. Local church will need to choose according to local children/youth ministries.
